ABQ Sunport Launches New Website
The City of Albuquerque Aviation Department announces the launch of a new, state-of-the-art website. ABQsunport.com now offers a streamlined menu, increased functionality and an attractive, cutting-edge design. These improvements help create a better user-experience and allow travelers to get the information they need, when they need it.
“With the previous site being over 5 years old, it was definitely in need of an update,” said Nyika Allen, Director of Aviation for the City of Albuquerque. “We’re pleased to be able to provide an innovative website with a more efficient customer experience and a fresh new look.”
Features of the new website include:

- Clean, modern design
- Prominent new photography/imagery
- Simplified menu
- New search capabilities
The new site was developed in conjunction with local web developer, LionSky. Built with the traveler in mind, the site is optimized for mobile, tablet and desktop use on all browsers. In addition to popular pages such as Arrivals/Departures, Shops and Restaurants and Parking, the development team also created new pages that outline various Amenities and the Sunport’s rich history.
Owned and operated by the City of Albuquerque’s Aviation Department, The Albuquerque International Sunport is New Mexico’s largest commercial airport, welcoming over 5 million passengers each year. Served by 8 major carriers, the Sunport offers non-stop service between ABQ and more than 20 destinations, all with worldwide connectivity.
